COLORADO!!!! We aren't sharing this with our families until after May 1st (we don't want to steal my sister's wedding thunder - she gets married in just over a week!) so please no facebook messages. The short story is that Snicks has been offered full funding to pursue a PhD and I have been offered a job at the same university (our offices will actually be in the same building). We are hoping to buy a house and move in ten short weeks. This is a huge undertaking and we welcome many, many prayers for a smooth transition.
Our other option was our home state of Minnesota. Unfortunately, they couldn't guarantee funding for Snicks and the job I applied for is still trying to assemble a search committee. We waited as long as we could to make our decision, hoping that the Golden Gophers would pull through. Alas, it was not to be.
We are actually thrilled with our choice. The town had a great vibe and the university is an excellent fit for both of us.
Thank you, prayer buddy, for your prayers. Now I am off to confession with Addie.

CO, though sometimes expensive, is an incredible place to live. I know you will like it! And full funding? Way to go, Snicks! I am so glad it worked out for you both to be at the same place. This is totally God! Congratulations!

Boo hoo! :( But I understand. I am sure CO is great, but it is no MN! :) Just kidding...well, kind of. It is sad you guys are not coming here, but I understand. God Bless you and prayers coming for the transition. Hey, can Mr. B and I come to visit? :)
